You say Pitocin, I say Patocin

Well its around 9:30 am, we've been here about 3 hours. Jess is doing great. They did the obiligatory medical questions, blood work etc. and then started her on Pitocin about 45 mins ago. She is just starting to progress ever so slightly. she's not feeling any pain or anything yet. Jess is hungry and to fufill her hungry belly she gets to chomp on ice chips, yummmm. I on the other hand got to sample some fantastic morsels from the hospital cafeteria. McDonalds its not, but this hospital makes one hell of a fake egg mcmuffin! Anyways I better get going Regis and Kelly have on Kathy Lee Gifford, I can't miss this.

Here are the pics from our most recent ultrasound. We were really lucky, due to the positioning of the baby, to get some shots of the baby's face. That's what most of the pics are of. There are a couple profile shots and pic of the big foot too. Mom and the baby are doing great. Click on the images for larger versions.

Cooper Van Gogh

Well it looks like we have a little artist on our hands, Coop is all about coloring, playdoh and drawing. He does it every night. He pulls out all his crayons, markers and playdoh and just goes to town. Jess taught Coop to color the eyes of the dinosaurs in his coloring book so every page he now colors the eyes first.

Goodbye mullet!

Its our "COOL DUDE"'s first haircut. The mullet is gone and he now looks like a real little boy! Coop just sat there as if he'd already had a million haircuts. Unaffected by scissors, razors and combs, Coop sat there like a grizzled haircut veteran, no smiles, no frowns, just straight to business!

Coop visits Elmo's World

Jess, Coop and I went to see Elmo at the FOX theatre. Coop was mezmorized by all the colors, lights ans sound. He was totally into the whole experience. Once the second half of the show started he had about enough Sesame Street. So did we! :) Also a big high five and THANKS to the city of Detroit for my Tickle Me Elmo Parking Ticket. :)
